Lifetime Achievement Award

The ISAP Lifetime Achievement Award honors individual scientists for outstanding contributions to anesthetic pharmacology. This award recognizes a meritorious career in drug research, excellence in direct patient care or very important contributions to patient care, and a distinguished teaching career.

Nominations for the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award

Nominations for the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award are open now with a deadline of March 1, 2026.  Nominees for this award need not be members of the Society.  Self nominations, or nominations on behalf of a candidate, will be accepted. Nominations must be accompanied by a CV and the name of one ISAP members that support the nomination. The awardee for 2026 will give a lecture of 45 minutes on October 16, 2026 at the 35th ISAP Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, USA. 

Award for Innovation in Anaesthetic Pharmacology

This award recognizes investigators who have exhibited creative genius and innovation in the study and development of anesthesia drugs.
